The Likable Appeal of Liberty Park
The Liberty Park residential area surrounds Salt Lake’s second largest, 80 acre-family friendly-jogging path route-tennis court hosting-picnic welcoming park.
Liberty Park is a true gem of Salt Lake and those who live in the area are the lucky ones that get to take advantage of everything it has to offer. Not only does the park itself offer free courts, ponds, and paths for visitors but the surrounding streets host a dog friendly park, the Park Café, and art galleries sprinkled throughout the neighborhood.
With the homes styled from the pre-1950s architecture it’s easy to find charming bungalows with quaint but respectable yards. Living here is a perfect alternative for people who want to live close to downtown, simultaneously living just outside the city limits.

Dining and Shopping
If there is one thing Liberty Park eateries know how to do, it’s breakfast. First things first, if there is one place you must eat at in this area, it’s the Park Cafe. It’s become a Salt Lake hot spot so expect to wait if you decide to dine on the weekend. The second breakfast place we would recommend in the Liberty Park area is Pig in a Jelly Jar. Although we recommend it as a hot brunch spot, it’s open for lunch and dinner as well.
With Trax stations just a couple blocks away it’s easy to also use public transportation for your daily commute.
If you work downtown the commute time is minimal. The Liberty Park area is extremely bike friendly and offers bike paths for those who like to commute to work on two wheels.
